Bumps n Babes Store at Bedford Hospital

Changes are taking place in the baby shop at Cygnet Wing, Bedford Hospital’s dedicated women and children’s unit, as Bedford company Bumps n Babes move in.

Bumps n Babes, whose owners are keen fundraisers for the Acorn Suite midwifery-led unit, will take over the running of the shop from March 1.

The new-look shop will stock a wide selection of baby equipment, baby clothing (including a premature range), a selection of birth cards, gift-boxed soft toys, baby bedding, baby swaddle wraps, nappies, pamper bags for mum, mum and baby toiletries, a breast feeding range, nursing pillows, a rotating selection of pushchairs and car seats plus many other baby and mum products.

Drinks and snacks will still be available from the main hospital shop near the Kempston Road entrance.

The new store will be one of the only baby shops in Bedford. The shop will be open from 9.30am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
